Volunteers raise and train puppies for approximately 18 months. These dogs receive basic obedience training and lots of opportunities to socialize and play. After 6 to 9 months of Canine Training at one of the regional centers, CCI dogs are ready to be partnered with a person with a disability.
CCI trains Service, Skilled Companion, Facility, and Hearing dogs. There are various local chapters & satellite offices [national headquarters is located in California] and regional centers are across the United States, located in California, Colorado, Illinois, New York, Ohio & Florida.
